WAVE Update

July 28, 2009

Today we have updated the online version of WAVE. The changes include some bug fixes and new features, such as updating the backend to use XulRunner1.9.1 (i.e., Firefox 3.5), which should make WAVE faster and more reliable.

Some of these fixes are also being implemented into an updated Firefox toolbar version and will be available in the near future.

If you have any comments or questions we are always open to feedback. It is in our best interest to make WAVE more stable, powerful, and useful every day and with your help we can make it even better every day.

  1. I already tried wave at my site: http://www.vianos.de/barrierefreies-webdesign.html – and to keep it short: impressing! (it helped me to fix some accessibility errors) I would also like to help with the translation (german) a.s.a.p

I am fully trained in translating English into French (which is my mother tongue) so I could certainly help as well. I could also translate German in to French. However I haven’t done it for a while so it might be best to focus on French.

  3. I am able to translate English into German, because both languages are my personal passion.
    Please contact me per E-Mail.
