WAVE Downtime

April 29, 2010

We recently had some technical difficulties with the webserver powering WAVE, and as a result of which the WAVE website and service was down yesterday from approximately 9am to 3pm MST yesterday. Everything is mostly restored now, but we’re still working on bringing all the auxiliary components and systems back up. If you notice any bugs or strange behavior with WAVE today, please let us know by commenting on this post (as the main feedback/contact form is still having some issues).

  1. I use the firefox web developer add in and edit the tools to add the WAVE tool with the url of http://dev.wave.webaim.org/Output.jsp?InputUrlText= however today, the tool is not working. Can you tell me if the url changed or if there are issues with the tool?

    Thanks!

    Marilyn-

We have fixed this page so that it works, but please note that the current URL for such processes is http://wave.webaim.org/report?url= Please update the web developer toolbar settings to this new URL. The old Output.jsp input will likely cease being supported in the future.
